Fresh and Dried Goji Berries

Goji berries have been enjoyed in China for generations. Both fresh and dried goji berries come from the same fruit, but their taste, texture and everyday uses are different.

Fresh Goji Berries

Fresh goji berries are soft, juicy and naturally sweet. They can be eaten directly after harvesting, but their delicate texture makes them difficult to store and transport over long distances.

This is one reason fresh goji berries are rarely found in regular grocery stores outside their growing regions.

Dried Goji Berries

Drying makes goji berries easier to store and transport. Dried goji berries have a chewy texture and are commonly enjoyed as a snack or added to tea, oatmeal, soups and baked foods.

They remain a traditional and convenient way to enjoy goji berries.

Another Way to Enjoy Fresh Goji

Goji berry purée offers a convenient way to enjoy more of the fresh fruit without washing, preparing or storing delicate berries.

The Goji Reserve uses freshly harvested goji berries grown on our own farms in Zhongning, Ningxia. The berries are made into a smooth purée that is easy to enjoy at home or while traveling.

Each 15 ml sachet is made with approximately 34 fresh goji berries, with no added sugar or preservatives.

Choose Goji for Your Routine

Dried goji berries are well suited for tea, cooking and snacking. Goji berry purée is portable, smooth and ready to enjoy directly from the sachet.

They are simply different ways to make goji part of your daily routine.
