The Goji Reserve started with a practical question: why was a fruit valued for generations still difficult for many people to understand and use?
The name goji may be familiar, but the fruit behind it often feels less so. People may know dried berries or broad wellness claims without knowing where the fruit comes from, what fresh goji tastes like, or how it can fit into an ordinary day. That gap is why we created The Goji Reserve.
Why we created The Goji Reserve
We wanted to present goji clearly. That starts with its origin and continues through the way the fruit is prepared, packaged, and described.
The product had to be simple to use. The information around it had to be just as straightforward. Goji is food, and we speak about it that way. We share the details we can support and avoid turning tradition or research into medical promises.
Start with the source
The goji used by The Goji Reserve comes from Zhongning, Ningxia, China. Zhongning has a protected geographical indication for its goji, and the region has a long relationship with the fruit.
Our standardized growing base was established in 2006. The self-owned farms now cover approximately 13,000 mu, or 3,212 acres. This relationship with the growing source lets the story begin with the fruit rather than with packaging or marketing.
You can read more about the region in Why Zhongning Goji Berries Are So Special. The Our Story page explains more about the company and its farm connection.
Make fresh goji easier to use
Many people first encounter goji as a dried berry. Dried goji works well in tea, oats, and snacks. Fresh goji is a different experience. It is soft, juicy, and naturally sweet.
We chose a purée because it keeps the experience close to fresh fruit while removing several practical steps. There is nothing to wash, soak, measure, or blend. The texture is smooth and consistent.
Each 15 ml sachet is made with approximately 34 fresh goji berries. The purée has no added sugar or preservatives, and each box contains 14 individual sachets. Our guide to fresh and dried goji berries compares the two formats in more detail.
Fit the product around real days
Interesting ingredients often stay at the back of the cupboard when they require too much preparation. We wanted goji to be easier to remember and easier to use.
A sachet can be enjoyed directly or paired with a familiar food or drink. The slim package also travels easily when appropriate, as long as the storage directions on the package are followed.
There is no prescribed ritual. The product is designed to work with routines people already have.

Be clear about food and evidence
Goji has a long cultural history and continues to be studied. Those facts do not make every popular claim about it accurate.
We focus on details that can be checked: where the fruit is grown, the use of fresh goji, the size of each sachet, and what is or is not added. We do not suggest that goji diagnoses, prevents, treats, or cures disease.
Readers who want to look more closely at the evidence can visit our Research page. The Why Goji page offers a simple introduction to the fruit.
One foundation, two products
Vision + Glow combines fresh goji berry purée with lutein ester. Digestion + Nourishment is another way to include the purée in a daily routine.
Both products use the same 15 ml sachet format and begin with fresh goji fruit. Their names and formulations differ, but the reason for making them is the same: goji should be easy to understand and realistic to use.
Keep the idea simple
The Goji Reserve was created to bring people closer to the fruit itself. We keep its Zhongning origin visible, use fresh goji, and package the purée for everyday life.
That is still the standard for the brand. Give people clear information, make the product easy to use, and let the fruit speak for itself.
